Sri Bhagavan and Sri Amma are two divine beings (Avatars) residing at Golden City, near Chennai, in India. Their sole mission is to bring all of humanity into the Golden Age, by bringing 64,000 people to enlightenment. Once this happens, the rest of humanity will be transformed.

What is an Avatar?
An avatar comes to Earth in response to humanity's call. He comes when there is a certain level of stagnation, and he comes with a specialised mission. Sri Bhagavan refers to himself as the Avatar of Enlightenment and his mission is to give enlightenment to the world.

Many people associate enlightenment with extraordinary effort, struggle, discipline, and asceticism – resulting from a total renunciation of the world and complete dedication to the spiritual path.

Nothing could be further from the truth. Enlightenment cannot be achieved through effort, no matter how hard you try. In fact, these efforts themselves can become your greatest obstacle! It's like trying to pull yourself out of quicksand by tugging at your own hair.

Most Indian traditions teach that enlightenment can only be given as a gift of grace. In this case, the grace is a product of a neurobiological change in the brain, as a result of the transfer of energy known as the ‘Oneness Blessing'. The Oneness Blessing is programmed by Bhagavan and Amma to re-pattern the structure and physiology of the brain.

Once this process completes itself, you will find yourself in a permanent state of enlightenment. This is not necessarily a mystical state, but simply a state of experiencing reality as it is, without the limiting filters and conditioning of the human mind.
